Mr. Raymond Thomas

Raymond Thomas received his BS degree in education from West Virginia State University in 1985. Raymond teaches kindergarten - 12th grades at Covenant Christian Ministries Academy with the responsibilities for coaching basketball and volleyball at the middle/high school level. He is also responsible for creating new sports programs for the school. Raymond also serves on the schools leadership team.

Prior to joining Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, Raymond worked as a driver's education instructor, for Marietta Public School System and Taggart's Driving School for six years. Prior to that he taught and coached at the Cottage School for two years. Raymond worked at the Devereux Foundations in Kennesaw as a teacher and a coach for 11 years.

This will be his 11th year at Covenant Christian Ministries Academy to God be the glory that he continues to let him do what he loves - teaching students about the God and life. Raymond's philosophy is the same as Covenant Christian Ministries Academy. He believes a school should assist parents in rearing a godly seed, but it takes the parents being on one accord with the school and the teachers, wanting their child/children to be successful. If we do our part as teachers and parents, believe in maintaining high standards - academically, spiritually, emotionally and physically - God will be magnified.
