ALUMNI OATH
As the alumni of Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, it is our duty and responsibility to uphold the standard and reputation of the school from which we graduated. We not only represent the school and those who came before us but most importantly, we represent our Lord, Jesus Christ.
RECENT ALUMNI ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Tope Arikawe, a 2017 graduate of Panola College, earned his associate's degree. During his two years at Panola College, Tope was diligent and disciplined on and off the court. Tope kept the momentum as he transferred to the University of North Texas in the fall of 2017. Keep up the good work, Tope!

Eilaina Smith-Gregory successfully completed her bachelor's degree from Kansas State University.

Demitrius Conger, a graduate of St. Bonaventure University (2013) has played with several professional teams across the world including the Antwerp Giants of Belgium, the Illawarra Hawks of Australia, and Joventut Badalona of Spain. Conger will be joining the Boston Celtics in the 2018 NBA Summer League. Keep up the good work, Demitrius!

Issac Abergut completed his post graduate semester at Covenant on May 25, 2018, and has just signed with Miles Community College. He is set to begin school and join the Pioneers at MCC in the fall of 2018. Keep up the good work, Issac!

Christian Mekowulu, a graduate of Tennessee State University, majored in social science and earned his bachelor's degree. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Mekowulu spent three of his four high school years being trained, groomed, and coached by Frederick T. Anderson, Sr. In his senior season, as a 6'9" forward for TSU, he was named OVC Player of the Week (12/4/17).

Brianna Reid earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio University's College of Business in Sport Management with a double minor in journalism and marketing.

Vyctori Anderson earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in family, youth, and community sciences with a specialization in entrepreneurship. She was also named a UF AIM Scholar.

Jillian Bundy completed her undergraduate education, earning a BSEd in Special Education. Throughout her undergraduate career, Jillian has accomplished many things, educating herself both in and out of the classroom.

Martins Igbanu is a returning letterwinner who appeared in all 32 games and averaged 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game as a freshman in 2016-17. He finished with 16 points in the game against Temple.

Wisdom Anderson of Acworth was named to Kennesaw State University's Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester, being enrolled in at least 9 credit hours of courses and earning a GPA of at least 3.5. Congratulations, Wisdom! Keep up the good work!

The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball big man Roche Grootfaam led the Golden Eagles past USU Eastern Saturday 114-77, being named Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his play. The sophomore, who will be headed to Utah State University next season, finished the game with 16 points, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots and one assist. He was 5-for-7 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

Christian Mekowulu, a redshirt junior at Tennessee State University, is majoring in social science and is dominating the court after missing the 2015-16 season while recovering from knee surgery. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Mekowulu spent three of his four high school years being trained, groomed, and coached by Frederick T. Anderson, Sr. In his senior year at Covenant, he was awarded Team MVP and averaged a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. He was rated as the 14th best forward and 36th best overall player from Georgia according to maxpreps.com. This season, as a 6'9" forward for TSU, he was named OVC Player of the Week.

Meaghan Gamboa, a junior at FAMU, is majoring in political science and is a part of the Honors College. This fall she has represented FAMU as a delegate to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Leadership Summit 2017 in Washington DC. At the National Association African American Honors Programs in Atlanta honoring civil rights, Meaghan served as assistant to the Vice President. Recently, she participated in the Goldman Sachs HBCU Leadership Program in New York City. Meaghan has received internship offers from, the Walmart Corporation, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs.

Marissa Gamboa completed her undergraduate degree in four years with honors. She earned a B.S. in Literature, Media, & Communication. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Media at Georgia Tech.

Derick Brewer successfully completed his two years at Catawba valley Community College. He has moved on to a larger four year school to pursue his bachelor's degree.
