Miss Rosalind Arokiaswamy
Professional Biography
I had always wanted to be a teacher, because I have always loved children and believe that God has called me to serve Him through serving His children. Children are precious gifts from God and they are the future citizens of our country and the world. Therefore, they need to grow up not only with a high academic standard and an all-round personality development, but also with a strong foundation in moral and spiritual values.
I began my teaching career in 1989 in Hyderbad, India, teaching biology and English in Grade 10.
In 2001, I was offered a position as science teacher for Grade 6 in the Dekalb Public School System, U.S.A. which I accepted. My desire to be in a Christian environment led me to accept the position as a science teacher in Grades 3, 4 and 5 at Crossroads Christian School in 2005, which I held until the school closed in 2008. I then joined Kingdom Academy as a middle school science teacher which also closed in 2014. I am now proud to be a science teacher at Covenant Christian Ministries Academy and look forward with excitement to the new academic session.
