Walk for Education is a walk-a-thon which involves all students, staff, and parents of the school. Students solicit the names of friends and family who are willing to sponsor their 3-mile walk (1-mile for the K-grades). The goal is for each student to raise $500.00 (or more) through sponsorship. Just think of 20 people who are willing to make a $25.00 donation towards this cause. Contributions can be made directly to the student or submitted on-line.
Contributions from this initial walk will help to bolster academy income, thereby decreasing the financial outlay by the ministry, thus affording other areas of ministry to expand. Funds raised during the current school year will enable the school to enhance benefit package for employees and supplement additional educational supplies/materials. Future donations will facilitate the current building project and provide funds for tuition assistance to needy students.
